Setup
- Set up a base (or a cone) 20 feet away.
- She starts in a home-plate batting stance.
- No ball, no bat — just the run.
How it works
- On your “go!”, she sprints toward the base as if she just hit a grounder.
- She doesn't slow down as she nears the base — she runs THROUGH it.
- Her foot hits the front of the base (the edge closest to her) as she's still running.
- She keeps running for 3 more steps past the base, then slows down.
- She circles back to the foul side (toward right field) to return — NOT into fair territory.
Watch for
- She doesn't jump or slide — that's slower than running through.
- She doesn't slow down at the bag — full speed until 3 steps past.
- She returns to the bag on the RIGHT side (foul) so she can't be tagged.
What to say
Run through it!
Don't slow down.
Three steps past.
That was a sprint — nice!
